Colby Covington to Host High-Stakes Charity Poker Tournament at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood

Fight Night Meets Poker Night as Colby Covington Hosts Charity Tournament for America's Heroes

When UFC superstar Colby “Chaos” Covington enters a room, the energy shifts. But this time, he’s stepping away from the Octagon and into the poker room—for a cause that hits closer to the heart than the mat.

On Wednesday, April 2, Covington will host a Charity Poker Tournament at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, to benefit his non-profit, America’s Champions Foundation (ACF). The event promises a night of high stakes and community spirit—set against the backdrop of one of South Florida’s most iconic venues.

A Mission That Packs a Punch

Covington, known for his aggressive style and brash persona inside the cage, has long been a vocal supporter of veterans, first responders, and patriotic causes. Through ACF, he channels that same intensity into supporting the families of those who serve.

“This tournament isn’t just about cards,” Covington said. “It’s about giving back to the men and women who protect our country and communities every day. It’s time we show them the same dedication.”

America’s Champions Foundation provides direct support to veterans, first responders, and their families through financial aid, scholarships, and wellness initiatives.

A Legendary Venue for a Legendary Night

The setting couldn’t be more fitting. The guitar-shaped Hard Rock Hotel has become a symbol of nightlife, high-profile events, and celebrity appearances. Covington filmed promotional content there earlier this week, helping build momentum for what’s expected to be a packed house.

A Fighter’s Heart Outside the Cage

While fans eagerly await Covington’s return to the Octagon—and his high-profile role as a coach on the upcoming Season 33 of The Ultimate Fighter, which premieres May 27 on ESPN—his focus this spring is on giving back.

“These are America’s real heroes,” he added. “Let’s come together and show up for them.”

Fort Liberty, NC - [16 May, 2024] - America’s Champions Foundation (ACF) has extended a compassionate grant to Andy, an active duty service member stationed at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, who recently faced the heartbreaking loss of his son in a tragic vehicle accident. "Losing my son was something I never imagined going through. It has been a tough time for our family and we are grateful for the support of America’s Champions Foundation," said Andy. The emotional and financial burdens associated with such a devastating event have been further complicated by Andy’s military service, which has placed his family far from their immediate support network. To facilitate the presence of his family during this difficult period, Andy has had to arrange housing and flights for relatives traveling from as far away as Africa and Germany. Stephen, CEO of America’s Champions Foundation, expressed his heartfelt condolences, stating, "When I learned about this incident, I immediately knew that this was exactly the kind of situation ACF was founded for. Our deepest condolences go out to the family and we wish them happiness in abundance as they heal from this tragedy that no parent should ever have to face." America’s Champions Foundation, a non-profit charity established in 2023 by UFC Fighter Colby Covington, is dedicated to supporting Veterans, First Responders, and their surviving spouses and children.
